ASHBURN, Va. -- The Washington Redskins know what they can't worry about Sunday: How much the New York Giants play their starters. If the Redskins start focusing on that aspect of the season finale, they're in trouble.
Their goal isn't to beat the Giants' starters; it's to win the game. So if Eli Manning plays quarterback for one quarter or four, it doesn't -- or shouldn't -- change their desire. The Redskins haven't made the playoffs in consecutive years since 1991-92, so to worry about the opposition's lineup isn't productive.
"We know what we have to do," Redskins safety Will Blackmon said.
