At 6’3” and 238 pounds, 23-year-old Myles Humphrey is a veteran of two NFL teams, having spent training camp with the Ravens last year, and then about half the season on the Giants practice squad.
He was waived by New York in May, and signed by the Redskins today.
Humphrey is a small college guy, having played for Shepard University in West Virginia. There, Humphrey was a consistent threat as a pass rusher where he racked up 40 sacks during his four-year career. In his final season with the team in 2017, he logged 13 sacks — the fourth-best mark among Division II players — and was named the Mountain East Conference’s Defensive Player of the Year.
