Washington has added another veteran wide receiver to what was one of its weakest units last year. Adam Humphries, formerly of the Titans, has been signed to a 1-year deal. Terry McLaurin should sleep a little easier tonight.
The Washington offense is shaping up to be improved and fun next season:
QB: Ryan Fitzpatrick
RB: Antonio Gibson
WR1: Terry McLaurin
WR2: Curtis Samuel
Slot: Adam Humphries
TE: Logan Thomas
Add in Antonio Gandy-Golden and Steven Sims to the WR mix too.— Field Yates (@FieldYates) March 25, 2021The move also gives Washington a ton of flexibility in the 2021 draft, taking pressure off the team in the WR department and reunites former Tampa Bay teammates, Humphries and Ryan Fitzpatrick.
