Finding information on Jerod Fernandez was tough, considering he was a 4-year starting linebacker for an ACC team. I thought I’d hit gold when I found an article from an NC State blog that was specifically about Fernandez signing with the Redskins. Despite a banner headline, the article had only two sentences.
I did learn that in 2014 he was suspended for one game when he and some other players got into a BB-gun battle without regard to the fact that they could have put somebody’s eye out.
