The Washington Redskins remain interested in free agent tight end Vernon Davis, hoping to still add him and create more weapons for quarterback Kirk Cousins.
Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan said Tuesday at the NFL owners meeting in Boca Raton, Florida, via ESPN reporter Eric Williams, that Davis remains on Washington’s radar. He visited nearly two weeks ago, but remains unsigned.
McCloughan drafted Davis in San Francisco.
“He’s in great shape. He’s a football player and is one of those guys that has never really been injured because his genetics is so incredible,” McCloughan said.
