On Thursday afternoon, the Washington Redskins made another free agent move. After adding Zach Brown earlier in the week, the move they made on Thursday was a much lesser move in the grand scheme of things. They agreed to a deal with John Kling, a former Chicago Bears preseason signee, to be a depth offensive tackle to them.
Kling is a 6-foot-8 tackle that played his college football at Buffalo. He was a longtime starter for the team, and has the size and potential to be a contributor at the NFL level. That said, he is extremely raw and has a lot of development left to go before he can make the Redskins roster.
