Leading up to 2016 NFL free agency, the Washington Redskins made it clear they weren’t interested in re-signing Alfred Morris. However, if the team is smart, they will re-sign at least one of their free agent running backs this offseason–Pierre Thomas, in particular.
The 31-year-old veteran has certainly seen better days, but he’s still a capable contributor at the professional level. During his short stint with the Redskins last season, Thomas racked up 64 rushing yards on 15 carries while also adding nine catches and 84 yards out of the backfield.
