Throughout training camp and the preseason, it is common to see teams shuffle through certain players who are buried on their rosters. As they decide that a player has no chance to make the team, decision makers may elect to part ways with them as they attempt to find players that may make the roster. The Washington Redskins made a couple of roster moves like that on Thursday.
According to Stephen Czarda of Redskins.com, the team has elected to sign free agent safeties Stefan McClure and Tim Scott. To make room for them on the roster, they released veteran safeties Josh Evans and Earl Wolff IV.
