The Washington Redskins got a major injury scare on Sunday afternoon against the Dallas Cowboys. Just a few plays into the game, their starting nose tackle Kedric Golston went down with a hamstring injury. He had to be helped off the field and was declared out for the game shortly thereafter. The team got more bad news about the Golston injury on Monday, when it was declared that the veteran would be placed on injured reserve to end his season, per CSN’s Rich Tandler.
As a result, the Redskins made a corresponding roster move to add 2016 fifth round draft pick Matt Ioannidis to the active roster.
