LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation (WRCF), American Diabetes Association® and GO-Adventures are teaming up to host a Redskins FITT – Teambuilding Event on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at Jefferson Middle School Academy in Washington, D.C. from 1:30 – 3 p.m.
Redskins players will lead 100 middle school students through a series of teambuilding and cognitive development exercises with the help of coaches from GO-Adventures. Each activity will focus on the topics of trust, communication, cooperation and fun.
As a part of the DC Public Schools Seventh Grade Cornerstone Program, Jefferson Middle School Academy students will be completing the Redskins FITT (Frequency, Intensity, Time and Type) curriculum for developing a personalized fitness plan.
