The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation partnered with Good Sports to donate more than $58,000 worth of athletic equipment to eight Richmond-based organizations to create opportunities for local youth to be physically active in a presentation at the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center in Richmond, Va., on Tuesday afternoon.
Since the two organizations have partnered together, the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation and Good Sports have provided $115,000 of equipment, apparel and footwear that has impacted nearly 68,000 kids.
The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation aims to make a positive and measurable impact in the lives of children that need it most, and has given back nearly $20MM since its inception in 2000.
