Washington receiver Steven Sims Jr. released; what’s next for the position group?

The Washington Football team continues to trim their roster down in preparation for the regular season. Washington and the rest of the NFL are to cut their roster down from 85 players to 80 by Tuesday, 4 pm est and one of the casualties for Washington is third-year wideout Steven Sims Jr. Sims has had it rough since his sophomore season in the NFL. The undrafted free agent out of the University of Kansas was primed to be a premier player for Washington in 2020. Instead, Sims became a liability to the team, struggling as a punt returner and a receiver.
