The Washington Commanders were off to a good start against the Carolina Panthers. Dante Fowler Jr returned a bad Andy Dalton pass for a pick-6. They stopped the Panthers again, and Washington got their first chance on offense. Jayden Daniels took the first snap 46 yards for a big gain, before being tackled awkwardly. He had one more run on that drive, and could be seen grabbing at his midsection. He was evaluated on the sidelines after Washington kicked a field goal. He then went to the locker room to get x-rays for a potential rib injury. Marcus Mariota has taken over at QB.
