The Washington Commanders will reportedly host former Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup for a free agent visit on Tuesday. Gallup(6'1", 198 lbs) retired last July after signing a 1-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders in July. The Raiders released him from their reserve/retired list to allow him to sign with another team this year. Gallup suffered a torn ACL at the end of the 2021 season, and his production never returned to its pre-injury level.
The Commanders v currently have two WRs under contract and will have another tomorrow when the Deebo Samuel trade is finalized. Terry McLaurin is expected to get a contract extension before the season making him one of the top-paid WRs in the league.
