This is a bit of a “get back” since the Eagles had claimed Wilson off waivers from the Washington Football Team earlier this month.
Wilson, 24, entered the NFL as Mr. Irrelevant after the Cardinals made him the No. 254 overall selection out of UCLA in the 2019 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Wilson did not make the Cardinals out of training camp, and he ended the season with Washington.
In a review of Caleb Wilson last preseason, KS4GM wrote this about him:
Wilson finished his college career at UCLA as their single-season record holder for tight end receptions (60) and receiving yards (965).
