The Redskins ruled out three players for Saturday’s game against the Tennessee Titans — including tight end Vernon Davis, who has a concussion.
Davis, wide receiver Maurice Harris (concussion) and offensive lineman Ty Nsekhe (knee) did not travel with the Redskins on Friday.
Davis practiced on Tuesday and Wednesday, but coach Jay Gruden said the tight end developed concussion symptoms after Wednesday’s practice. Davis, who has 367 yards this season, briefly exited last Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and was examined for a head injury before returning.
Washington also put tackle Austin Howard (hip) on injured reserve Friday and promoted Timon Parris from its practice squad.
