As the 2019 season went along, it became increasingly clear that while the Redskins have some talent at the cornerback position, they probably need one more starting-caliber player to truly field a strong secondary.
Quinton Dunbar was excellent in ’19 when he was on the field. He was a big-time playmaker and was a strong No. 1 corner for the team, but he has reportedly demanded a trade which makes his future a bit more questionable.
Across from him, Fabian Moreau flashed at times after being moved outside, but he was woeful in the slot.
