Junior Galette spent three years of his collegiate career playing for Temple University, where he recorded 16 sacks and 27 tackles for loss. After his junior season, Galette transferred to Stillman College, a Division II program located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Galette went on to earn All-Conference honors, despite missing the end of his senior season.
Galette then entered the NFL draft, ultimately signing with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent. The former Temple Owl went on to record 31.5 sacks over 5 seasons. After his strong performance on the field, Galette was eventually voted team captain by his teammates.
