A lot of the griping around here over the past two very bad seasons has centered on how poor Washington’s offensive line has been. The quarterback’s struggles get blamed on the men up front. Using the No. 5 overall draft pick on an offensive lineman was roundly celebrated.
As bad as things have been, there might always be an offensive line that has it worse. As evidence, I offer up Atlanta’s interest in signing right tackle Tyler Polumbus, who lost his starting job in Washington last season and was left on the vine as a free agent.
