A lot has been made about the struggling 2016 Washington Redskins defense, who ranks 29th in the league, but Joe Barry’s men stepped up to the task and pummeled Joe Flacco‘s led Ravens offense in 16-10 win.
After Baltimore drove down 75 yards to score on their opening series, Washington’s defense settled down and held Ravens to only three points the whole way. Though the rushing defense gave up more than 100 yards once again, including 95 to Terrence West, head coach Jay Gruden has to be delighted with his team’s effort in route to their third consecutive win.
