The Washington Football Team is the latest team to announce that there will be no fans allowed at stadiums for the 2020 season due to COVID-19. On July 28th the team sent letters to season tivket holders informing them that they could defer their tickets for this season. It also detailed new policies and procedures for fans that did attend games this year, including wearing masks inside and outside of the stadium. That will obviously not happen with this latest update.
With the health and safety of its fans and employees top of mind, the Washington Football Team announced today that NFL games at FedExField will be played without fans during the 2020 season.
