The Washington Commanders season is over, and it’s time to look towards the future. The team fell short in the NFC Championship game, and must now continue recalibrating the roster. They announced three signings after the regular season ended, and signed nine more players to reserve/future contracts today. The players announced today were all on the team’s 16-man practice squad. Two of the three players announced after the season hadn’t been on Washington’s roster before.

These players will return next season to try to earn a spot on the 53-man roster. They will also be competing with a large number of new players coming via the draft and free agency.
