The Redskins have officially plsced LT Trent Williams on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury List. This ends a season for Williams that started with a holdout in June. The Redskins didn't trade him by the deadline, and then he reported to attempt to accrue a season. He failed his physical when he felt discomfort from the offseason surgeries to remove a growth from his scalp.
That growth and its diagnosis by the Redskins training staff was a big part of Wiilisms hold out. He reportedly lost faith in the organization, and also grew concerned with the lack of guaranteed money on his deal following his medical scare.
