Five Players have been nominated for the Week 6 Pepsi Rookie of the Week, including the Redskins own offensive MVP, Terry McLaurin, the fabulous rookie wide receiver from Ohio State.
In five games this season (McLaurin missed the Giants game with an injury) Scary Terry has 23 receptions for 408 yards and 5 touchdowns. He has scored a touchdown in 4 out of 5 games played.
When McLaurin had a great Week 1 followed by another great week in Week 2, many people tried to put his production in context by saying that Terry was “on pace for” over 1,300 yards and over a dozen touchdowns, then quickly adding that, of course, McLaurin couldn’t keep up the pace and would cool off at some point.
