Terry McLaurin, Brandon Scherff out for Redskins vs. Giants

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Redskins wideout Terry McLaurin and guard Brandon Scherff are out Sunday against the New York Giants with injuries.

Both players were game-time decisions, but the Redskins felt like neither were ready to play. McLaurin was first listed with a hamstring injury on Thursday, while Scherff suffered an ankle injury in Monday’s loss to the Chicago Bears.

The injuries are a big blow to the Redskins, who are searching for their first win of the season. Washington was already without tight end Jordan Reed (concussion) and starting center Chase Roullier (knee).

Here’s Washington full list of inactives against the Giants:

- McLaurin (hamstring)
- Scherff (foot)
- Reed (concussion)
- Roullier (knee)
- QB Colt McCoy
- LB Cassanova McKinzy (hip)
- CB Aaron Colvin
