The Redskins should have a fairly healthy roster entering Sunday’s matchup against the Carolina Panthers. Nose tackle Terrance Knighton and cornerback Will Blackmon returned to the field Friday after missing Thursday’s practice.
Knighton had an appointment with a specialist to help deal with his cluster headaches, Redskins Coach Jay Gruden said Thursday. Blackmon wasn’t at the facility to attend a family matter. Both were active during individual team drills at the start of practice.
The only player missing was safety Trenton Robinson. He was sidelined for a second straight day because of a right hamstring injury. Robinson initially aggravated his hamstring in Sunday’s 47-14 victory over the New Orleans Saints.
