Nose tackle Terrance Knighton was on the field Wednesday as the Redskins kicked off their week of practices for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
Knighton missed last Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots while suffering from debilitating headaches. Knighton, who has suffered from bouts with those headaches off and on for much of his life, didn’t travel with the team. But he took part in the individual and team drills that took place during the 20-minute window that was open to reporters Wednesday.
Meanwhile, inside linebacker Keenan Robinson did not practice while nursing rib and shoulder injuries, and defensive end Jason Hatcher appeared to be receiving his routine Wednesday off to rest his chronically sore right knee.
