Swearinger rips Redskins DC's playcalling in loss

NASHVILLE -- Washington Redskins safety D.J. Swearinger sounded off in frustration after multiple losses this season, but never cast direct blame on any culprits. Saturday, he unloaded on defensive coordinator Greg Manusky for what Swearinger termed bad playcalling.

Swearinger ripped into Manusky after the Redskins' 25-16 loss to the Tennessee Titans. The Redskins (7-8) still remain alive in the playoff race, but would be eliminated with an Eagles win or if Minnesota and Seattle win Sunday.

Swearinger's frustration was the heavy amount of man coverage Washington played, including with backup quarterback Blaine Gabbert, subbing for an injured Marcus Mariota, in the game.
