The Washington Redskins struck first in their game against the undefeated, defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots thanks to an unlikely contributor.
Steven Sims Jr., a wide receiver more often deployed in the return game, turned on the jets on this first-quarter end-around and scored a 65-yard touchdown to put Washington up 7-0.
