Stephen Paea sustained a Grade 2 toe sprain in Monday’s 19-16 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, which coach Jay Gruden said will keep the Washington Redskins’ defensive end out at least one to two games.
Paea played just 10 snaps on Monday’s before coming out of the game. Paea will miss Sunday’s game against Chicago, where he played for three seasons with the Bears from 2011-14 before signing with the Redskins.
Inside linebacker Will Compton sustained a shoulder sprain against the Cowboys, but Gruden seemed optimistic that Compton will not miss any playing time.
