Spencer Long, Trent Murphy might help Redskins by switching positions

The Washington Redskins will look for help at center and defensive end this offseason -- and there's a good chance that quest will include players on their roster, but at different positions.

The Redskins benefitted during the season from players switching positions, with DeAngelo Hall going from corner to safety midseason and Quinton Dunbar moving from receiver to corner in training camp.

Nothing is yet official with other moves -- the front office will be meeting with coaches over the next couple of weeks to go over player evaluations. But here are two players who might be asked to move:

Position switch: From guard to center

Why they would move him: Because they want to get bigger at center, where starter Kory Lichtensteiger weighs 296 pounds.
