It was announced just a few days ago that Washington State safety Jalen Thompson had lost his eligibility for the 2019 college football season for purchasing an over-the-counter supplement that was not an illegal steroid. Due to the suspension, Thompson has decided to enter the 2019 NFL Supplemental Draft.
The would-be senior free safety has started the past three seasons for the Cougars, recording 121 tackles(11.5 for a loss), six interceptions, 17 passes defended, two forced fumbles and five fumbles recovered. He’s improved his play on the back end each season, as was expected to be a fairly high 2020 draft pick with another solid season.
