It’s almost that time of the year when the eligible media members cast their votes for the NFL’s season awards. The Washington Redskins don’t have any players worthy of receiving MVP, offensive player of the year, defensive player of the year, offensive rookie of the year, defensive rookie of the year or Comeback Player of the Year honors. Yes, Redskins Coach Jay Gruden led this franchise to its second worst-to-first turnaround to win the NFC East this season, but he won’t win Coach of the Year, either.
There will be one member of the organization up for some sort of postseason honor, however.
