METAIRIE, La. -- The New Orleans Saints are attempting to withhold the $1.25 million guaranteed salary they owe former linebacker Junior Galette this year, his agent, Alvin Keels said, confirming a report by USA Today.

The Saints are not, however, attempting to recoup the $16 million in bonus money they have already paid out to Galette over the past two years.
