Outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan left the Washington Redskins’ game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after the first quarter because of what the television broadcast reported was a broken right hand.
Kerrigan played his final snap just before the end of the first quarter, when running back Charles Sims rushed for seven yards. He left the game and headed to the locker room after the play ended, then was diagnosed with a broken bone in the hand during the second quarter, according to Fox.
It was unclear when or how Kerrigan broke the hand.
