Rookie wide receiver Jamison Crowder knew going into Sunday’s game against the Eagles he’d receive a bigger role in the offense. With Andre Roberts inactive as a healthy scratch, Crowder took advantage with his best performance yet.
Crowder led the Redskins with a season-high seven catches for 65 yards in the 23-20 win at FedEx Field. He was targeted 12 times, compared to just eight in the first three games.
“We’ve seen that all camp,” Redskins Coach Jay Gruden said. “He had the injury there at the end of camp.
