The Washington Redskins today announced the signing of five college free agents, each of whom participated in the team’s rookie minicamp on Friday and Saturday. They also signed free agent linebacker Alonzo Highsmith.
In corresponding moves, the team also waived tackle Brey Cook, defensive lineman LaKendrick Ross, linebacker James Gayle (injured) wide receiver Tyler Rutenbeck, and quarterback Connor Halliday (left squad).
