Washington Redskins Head Coach Ron Rivera held a video conference with local reporters today. He went over a variety of topics as the team prepares for the NFL draft April 23-25. He spoke about the status of the Trent Williams trade(no update), trading Quinton Dunbar, and the strategy in his first free agency with the team. Rivera is very high on free safety Sean Davis. The team is preparing for this year’s draft, and Rivera plans to rely heavily on Kyle Smith and the scouting department. He has an idea of how the 1st round will go, but also discussed trading down.
