EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Robert Griffin III was active for the first time this season in the Washington Redskins‘ 34-20 loss to the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium.
The Redskins had seven key players out with injuries and chose to activate Griffin, who watched the previous five games out of uniform.
Griffin did not play on Sunday, nor did he expect to, as the game spiraled away from the Redskins.
“It’s not my call,” Griffin said.
“I’m not going to talk about myself and our team,” he added.
