Wide receiver Robert Davis is out for the 2018 season with a torn PCL, Jay Gruden announced.
Davis suffered the injury during Saturday’s practice when he came down to the ground hard on a passing play. He will need surgery and a 9- to 12-month rehab, Gruden said.
After running back Derrius Guice and tight end Manasseh Garner tore ACLs in Thursday night’s preseason opener at New England, Davis was the third Redskin in three days to see his 2018 season cut short.
“He went up for the ball yesterday and … he landed awkwardly on his knee,” Gruden said.
