Jay Gruden said that Rob Kelley and Will Compton -- both of whom were removed from Sunday's game with injuries -- could be placed on Injured Reserve. Determination of their status will be made in the coming days.
Washington Redskins running back Rob Kelley could miss more time this season, as head coach Jay Gruden announced on Monday afternoon that the Tulane product suffered both a high ankle and MCL sprain. Additionally, linebacker Will Compton suffered a Lisfranc sprain.
Kelley suffered both injuries on a goal-to-go run in the Redskins’ 38-30 loss to the Minnesota Vikings at FedExField in Landover, Md.
