When watching Kyshoen Jarrett play football, I was trying to guess why he wasn’t higher rated than a sixth round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. Jarrett is a good all-around player with the ability to play both strong safety and free safety. He also contributes on special teams well coming from Virginia Tech.
Jarrett’s lack of respect probably comes from the fact that he is only 5’10” and 200 pounds. Those 200 pounds give him a compact frame which he uses to bring down ball carriers with his excellent tackling ability. Jarrett has been a force versus the run, starting 38 games with 242 total tackles with the Hokies.
