The NFL’s investigation into Washington Redskins linebacker Reuben Foster is still ongoing, commissioner Roger Goodell said Wednesday, and Foster could still be suspended under the league’s personal conduct policy even though charges against him were dropped.
The San Francisco 49ers released Foster after he was arrested on Nov. 24 on domestic violence charges. It was his second arrest related to domestic violence, but the charges were dropped in both cases.
The case may begin to mirror the NFL’s suspension of Ezekiel Elliott for violating the personal conduct policy.
