The Washington Football Team announced that Reuben Foster has been activated off of the PUP list, opening the way for him to play football in 2020.
Foster injured his knee on his first day on the practice field with the team last year, and missed the entire 2019 season. He had been picked up during the 2019 off-season after being waived by the 49ers following allegations of domestic violence which later proved to be groundless.
Foster was the first round selection of the NIners in 2017, but injury and off-the-field concerns have marked his tenure in the NFL.
