To nobody’s surprise, the Redskins are working out another quarterback prospect. This week, they are bringing in Dwayne Haskins for a visit, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Haskins is considered to be one of the top quarterbacks in this draft class and Washington could have an interest in selecting him in the first round.
Haskins has long been considered a favorite to go in the top 10, but recently, NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein has indicated that NFL teams may not be as high on Haskins. That has created some speculation that he could fall to the Redskins’ pick at 15, but that may be difficult.
