Ben Standig first reported that the Redskins are expected to release DL Ziggy Hood. His agent Andy Ross confirmed that his client will be released. The Redskins have spent the last three drafts upgrading their defensive line, and the results are paying off with the play and leadership from guys like Matt Ioannidis, Jonathan Allen, and DaRon Payne.
