Report: Redskins Sign Veteran Defensive Lineman Cullen Jenkins

The Washington Redskins are reportedly bringing in a veteran defensive linemen to help bolster the defensive line.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network is reporting that the Redskins have signed 35-year-old Cullen Jenkins.

Jenkins originally entered the NFL as a college free agent in 2003 with the Green Bay Packers.

He would spend seven seasons on the Packers’ active roster, starting 66 games with 130 tackles, 29 sacks, 16 passes defensed and five fumbles forced.

Jenkins would then sign with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011, spending two seasons with the organization.

He would start all 32 games during that span, recording 9.
