The Redskins had two open spots in their 53-man roster after placing RB Shaun Wilson an OLB Jordan Brailford on IR yesterday. They will reportedly fill on of those spots by signing former Philadelphia Eagles DT Treyvon Hester. The Redskins currently only have 5 defensive linemen on the roster and two of them[Tim Settle(knee) and Caleb Brantley(Lisfranc)] have been dealing with injuries during the preseason.
Hester(6'2", 300lbs) was a 7th round pick for the Raiders in 2017. Hester has been rostered for 28 games, starting 1 game for Oakland in 2017, and 1 for the Eagles last year.
