Last season, the lack of depth on the Redskins’ offensive line derailed their season. After losing Brandon Scherff and Shawn Lauvao to injuries, the team cycled through a variety of low-level starters at guard. By the end of the year, they were on their seventh and eighth options at the position, and their tackle depth wasn’t strong either. Thus, it’s no surprise that the team is trying to change that in the 2019 offseason.
According to Ben Standig of NBC Sports Washington, the Redskins have already met with a couple of potential first-round offensive linemen.
