We haven’t had many updates on Trent Williams lately, except for more people adding their opinions that he will be traded...eventually. Kevin Sheehan has reported that the Patriots have offered their 2020 1st round pick for Williams. The Redskins reportedly told them that was not enough. The Patriots typically draft at the bottom of the 1st round, so this isn’t as attractive as most 1st round picks. But it is still a 1st, and the Redskins will need high picks next year if Williams is gone and Geron Christian isn’t at least serviceable at LT.
